Deliveroo pledges 500,000 meals for NHS staff

Deliveroo has committed to give away 500,000 free meals to NHS staff across the UK as the Covid-19 outbreak worsens. 

The food delivery service has teamed up with restaurant chains to offer free food for workers on the frontline of the pandemic.

Deliveroo operates in more than 200 cities across the UK and has already raised £150,000 in donations towards meals for NHS staff and volunteers.

In the last year, our partners deliveroo answered the call of so many grassroots clubs who were in desperate need of support, providing 28,000 football strips to the community game.

We would like to encourage clubs who benefitted from this to return the support to deliveroo and help their mission to feed the NHS.
