LONDON, UK, 1st September 2025 – We’re excited to share that we at Gift of Kit are teaming up with Bat For A Chance, the UK-based cricket charity delivering kit and cricket-for-social-change projects worldwide. Together, we’ll be breaking down barriers and making cricket more accessible to young people and communities who need it most.
At Gift of Kit, our mission is to strengthen grassroots sport by connecting brands of all sizes – from global sponsors to local businesses – with amateur clubs across football, rugby, cricket and more. By delivering free, branded kit and equipment, we help remove one of the biggest barriers to participation.
Bat For A Chance shares our passion for accessibility. They’ve already supported over 20,000 people across 25 countries and 4 continents by collecting and redistributing high-quality cricket equipment, while also funding brilliant initiatives like girls’ cricket clubs, employability programs for coaches, and bat repair workshops.
By joining forces, we will:
- Distribute more cricket kit to grassroots teams and disadvantaged communities.
- Harness brand sponsorship to increase the visibility and impact of cricket initiatives.
- Support social change projects that use cricket as a tool for empowerment, skills development and inclusion.
